Pre Christmas Celebration with Orphanage Kids

Its about 2 years ago back in 2012, we went to celebrate the orphanage kids at 

Thangam Illam Sociery Welfare

Address : Lot 1 , Jalan Pandan Indah 1/11 , Taman Pandan Indah , 68000 Ampang , Selangor .

along with the group called OneLove Malaysia founder by Camellia following along with Ries Emery & Hah OneLove Malaysia Committees.

And after 2 years, we are back again to the orphanage kids and this time we celebrate Christmas with them. About 24 kids and from the 24 kids are 3 listed as special kids along with 5 elderly women are staying with them. I was quite surprised because previously 2 years ago, none elderly are staying there. Well I am very touch when we visited them at 22nd December 2012, that day was the founder Birthday Day.. and guess what when I (Ries Emery) reach the place i saw the kids tearing up papers to small tiny pieces i didnt know what are the kids up to with the paper tearing. Oh ok that a good celebration Pre Christmas with Happy Birthday together. 

I start the intro each kids to all the peoples who attended from various group which I organised like K.L Friends Meet Up, Likemind Malaysia and OneLove Malaysia, about 30 plus people attended the event comparing 2 years ago, just about 10 peoples attended. Wau, seems like its a good start to interact with the kids and participants. When we are the kids to sit with us they seems refused, because they are waiting for the MOM to comes down anxiously about roughly 20 minutes waiting, Soon their MOM came down from the stairs and Greet their MOM HAPPY BIRTHDAY and they pop the balloons that burst out the small tiny tear up papers which they did when i arrive. I was so touch by the kids afford and they creativity. 

After greeting by their MOM, we started off with some games and  the kids had so much fun with us and the gifts we presented by all the participants.

It was the most happiness day which we can really spend times with the orphanage kids.

Question : How is a ( likemind ) gathering like ?
No agenda, no structure, just be yourself...

A social movement that has swept over 70 cities around the world, where people just like you and me gather on the third Friday of each month for coffee and conversation at a local coffee shop after finishing their day off to cool of some steam .

Here in Malaysia we generally meet up at your friendly neighbourhood coffee houses like GeorgeTown White Coffee, intro each other, play fun games to break the ice followed by an open meet and greet session to end it all.

That’s it. No fees. No rules. No barriers. Coffee with cool friendly people—that’s all.

This time round, we have change to a new location from the previous GeorgeTown White Coffee to Oldtown White Coffee at Jalan Klang Lama for a new setting, fresher environment and different ambience...
